Our client is looking for a Associate Director, Marketing Analytics in
their downtown Los Angeles office. The Associate Director plays a vital
role by working with clients and internal staff to build both Analytics
projects and integrated large-scale consulting projects. The Associate
Director will actively participate in the project sales process with
the account team, mentor those within the group, contribute to the
development and growth of Marketing Analytics and interface with senior
level contacts both internally and externally. This person will be
responsible for design and execution of the projects as well as
articulation of results from complex statistical models and analyses to
internal and external clients.
Required Skills:
PREFER SOMEONE WHO HAS WORKED IN AN AGENCY/CONSULTING SETTING...
• Educational training in business and quantitative analysis, including both offline and online/interactive businesses
• Masters degree in related field
• 4-8 years experience in marketing analytics, and consulting with strong project management
• In depth knowledge of SAS, web analytics a plus, .
• Superior written, verbal and presentation skills
• Prior experience managing people
• Experience in behavioral and attitudinal analytic techniques
• Experience working with segmentation and predictive models

Leading global online service provider seeks seasoned analytical
professional to grow a team. You will be joining a new division focused
on bringing to market a set of behavioral targeting products that
optimize online advertising. You will be working with the largest
Publishers, Advertisers, and Ad Networks on the Internet today.
This position is responsible for unlocking the value of data by leading
data modeling efforts. Responsibilities will include development of an
incremental response methodology, multivariate testing, and systematic
exploration of alternate data preparation and modeling approaches to
optimize profit, as well as segmentation and automatic text
classification.
To qualify for this exciting position you will need:
* Education: BA/BS degree, advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or Operations preferred
* Overall Experience: 5+ years of experience in applied data mining and modeling
• Experience in direct mail on in online behavioral advertising
• Research or related quantitative disciplines
• Substantial experience with one or more of the major data mining
toolsets (SAS EM, SPSS Clementine, KXEN AF) and linear or logistic
regression
• Ability to oversee development and develop in SQL, scripting languages, etc.
• Strong understanding of the data mining techniques (clustering, decision trees, SVM)
• Expertise in model design, variable selection and analytic record construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with automated text/web classification is a plus
• Prior management experience preferred
Job is full time and will be located in Manhattan NYC or Boston MA. No relocation expenses are available…..
